At a joint invitation between the Education Committee of the Popular Committee and the two schools of Aida Elementary for Boys and Beit Jala Mixed (Aida girls), a meeting was held for parents of students in the two schools in the presence of the Popular Committee, school principals and a number of teachers in the two schools. Talking about the concerns and problems of their children, many concerns and proposals were listened to, which will be discussed and solutions developed between schools and local community institutions. The Popular Committee on behalf of the local community institutions confirmed their full readiness to follow up adequately the issues related to schools and students and to communicate with parents, and many were addressed. Among the issues that concern the community, and that it was agreed with the governor and the security services to address negative phenomena that target the security of society, in the end, it was agreed to form a parents’ council after running for that through the school’s web page.
